Travel Guidance Update

April 4, 2022

Dear Springfield Schools Community,

Spring is finally upon us and we know that members of our community will likely have travel plans during the upcoming Spring Break.

As most are aware, New Jersey's travel advisory is no longer in effect, however, all travelers are still encouraged to follow travel recommendations from the CDC.  We will continue to support health and safety protocols throughout the district. To see Tips for a Safe Spring Break click here: Communicable Disease Service | Traveler's Health - NJ.gov

As per the guidance provided by local and state health officials,  Springfield Public Schools will not be requiring students or staff to quarantine following domestic or international travel.  For additional information regarding travel please click here: CDC Travel Guidance.

It is important to remember that as we embrace the renewal of spring and many joyous activities, COVID-19 remains present in our community. Please keep in mind that if your child is symptomatic, they may be sent home and you may be required to provide a negative test result.

We appreciate your ongoing cooperation and support!
