As a result of Wednesday’s closure due to weather, the District has used one more snow day than we had built into our calendar. I recognize that each of the options available to make that day up are problematic for some, but the State does not grant waivers of the legal requirement that the District provide 180 days of school, even for severe weather events. As a result, after much consideration, the make-up day will be on Monday, April 2, 2018. That day will be a regular school day for all students and staff. Schools will still be closed on Friday, March 30, 2018.
Should schools be closed for any additional days before that date, additional make-up days will be added consecutively to April 2, 2018.
