The Springfield Public Schools Technology Department is focused on maintaining a safe, reliable, and intentional digital environment for our students and staff. We are continuing to upgrade our district network infrastructure to ensure reliable daily classroom connections, while enforcing strict data privacy standards to keep student and staff information secure. On the academic side, we are partnering closely with teachers to align technology with our curriculum, ensuring tools are used to enhance lesson plans rather than replace them. Above all, our priority is purposeful screen time—using technology to foster critical thinking, creativity, real-world skills, and personalized learning while maintaining a healthy balance with hands-on learning.
